My name is Lucas, and I am a large, mixed breed dog.  I am a very sweet boy with a great deal of exuberance, so I would make a GREAT yard dog.  I like to run and play with my toys out in the yard.  I also enjoy playing tug-of-war.  My favorite thing, however, is getting belly rubs.  Please come visit me at the Shelter so we can become acquainted, and just maybe your household will become my forever home.  Please know, however, that I’m not good with children.

Of course, I am what my name is.  I rule my three brothers.  I am extremely affectionate and would be great with any family.  I could lay and knead on you for hours, and you’ll never hear a complaint out of me!

I am a VERY laid back putty tat that would just love to find my forever home in a nice, comfy lap.  I would be great with kids, and I love to play.  I am going to have longer hair when I grow up, so I need a little brushing every once in a while.  If you have a big heart, I’d like to fill it up with love.

Hello.  My name is Big Mac, and I am a mixed breed.   I am a great dog, if I do say so myself.  I love people and kids; however, I don’t care much for other dogs.  I love to play with my toys, to play ball, and to go for walks.  One of my favorite things is to go for a ride.  I prefer the front seat (ha ha).  I’m waiting here at the Shelter to meet you.  Thanks.  Big Mac

I am a VERY large Manx that likes to squeeze into very small places.  I am a bit nervous of new environments, so I’d need a little patience.  Once you make me feel comfy, though, I’m a lover and a great lap cat.  You can carry me around like a baby, and I like to be brushed.  My favorite thing is TREATS!!! (Bet you’d never guess.)

Jango is a large Mountain Feist.  He is a mature dog, with the calm, loving qualities developed over time.  He very much enjoys his walks and being with people; however, he should be the only pet in the house, and there should be no young children.

I am looking for my  Knight in shining armor.  I love to sing and to have my hair brushed like a regular princess.  I am devinely sweet and loving.  Come see if your glass slipper (I wear an extra small) will fit on me before my  handsome prince comes and whisks me away!

Hi!  I am Calypso, a three-year-old Terrier mix.  I am a loving and affectionate little girl; I enjoy walks and spending time with my human friends.  However, I do not care for other dogs.  I ask you to come to the Shelter and take me for walks so we can become friends.  Hopefully, you will take me as part of your family.

Hello.  My name is Smoke, and I am a three-year-old female.  I am very sweet, and I love to play with my toys.  I enjoy people and older children.  I do not, however, care for other cats.  Since I am a special-needs kitty, I would really like to introduce myself to you.  I am waiting here at the Shelter for you, so please come see me.  I would be so grateful to go home with you.

I am a cat that loves to have a lot of attention – so much so that I would have to be the only cat in the house.  I am playful and very talkative.  I like to sit in the window and watch the squirrels outside, and I dream of them later.  I was found stuck in an air duct; hence, the name.

I am a VERY shy, but pretty kitty.  I like to hide in things and I LOVE tuna.  I act like I may have been mistreated in the past, but I don’t have to ever worry about that again because I was rescued by good people.  I need patience, and I am worth it.  Please visit me.

I am a VERY affectionate and quite lovely calico cat, if I do say so myself.  I am very long (like a limo) and I have expensive tastes.  If diamonds could be my best friend, I’d take them, but I’d rather have you for my best friend for life.  Please, come see me.
