If you have lost or found a pet, there are several steps you can take to find your pet, or to help someone else find their pet.
1. Call the Humane Society of Lake Co. at 352-589-7400. We will take a lost or found report when you call.
2. Call the Humane Society of Leesburg at 352-669-3312.
3. Call the County Animal Control at 352-343-9688.
4. Call the Emergency Clinic at 352-728-4440.
5. Check with the local veterinarians.
6. Put up signs in your neighborhood & surrounding ones.
And to follow through, when your pet has been found, it would be courteous to call the contacts you made and tell them your pet has been found.
