Obama’s H1N1 State of Emergency

President Obama recently declared a State of Emergency as a result of H1N1 growth. In many respects, this will be his first emergency, and certainly the first emergency he “owns” (NOT an emergency he can blame on his predecessor). Is the Obama White House just being cautious, or is it overplaying the seriousness of the “crisis”? Will there be curtailment of individual liberties as a result of this crisis?

Stay tuned on this one folks. If the situation reaches epidemic status in the US, should we blame the President? Wouldn’t that be similar to blaming President Bush for Hurricane Katrina?

Congressman Grayson (Democrat – FL District 8) blatantly misinterprets the health insurance study he cites in this video clip.
